Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

Alwass is run by All Work and Service Solution Pvt. Ltd (PAN 610409079), Ratnachowk-7, Pokhara, Nepal, with an office in Kathmandu. We are responsible for the personal information you give us. We handle it in line with the Individual Privacy Act 2075 and the other laws of Nepal. For any privacy question or request, email info@alwass.com or call +977 9864430736.

2. What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email, phone number and password; your profile, CV, work history, education, skills, photo and portfolio; job applications, proposals, projects and messages; company details and verification documents; identity and licence documents you upload for verification; payout details (bank account, eSewa or Khalti ID); and anything you send to our support team.

Information created when you use Alwass: the pages and features you use, searches, applications and purchases; your device, browser and IP address; and, when you create an account or sign in, a shortened IP address and a one-way code made from your browser and device details. That code cannot be turned back into your details. We use it only to spot one person running many fake accounts.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking tools.

3. Why we use it

To create and run your account; to show your profile and applications to the employers and clients you choose to apply to or work with; to match jobs, projects and people; to take payments, hold project money and pay out; to verify companies, agencies, licences and identities; to send you messages about your account, applications, payments and security; to prevent fraud, fake listings and illegal recruitment; to answer complaints; and to meet our legal duties, for example tax and accounting records.

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed, and you can stop them at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only: with the employer, agency or client you apply to or work with; with the payment providers that process your payments and payouts, such as Khalti, eSewa and banks; with service providers who host our platform and send our emails, under agreements that require them to protect it; and with the government, the courts or the police when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Verification documents, identity documents and licences are seen only by the Alwass staff who review them. They are never shown publicly.

5. Where it is stored

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers, which may be outside Nepal. We choose providers that protect data with encryption and strict access controls.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep records for longer, such as payment and tax records. The anti-fraud device code is deleted 12 months after your last sign-in.

7. Your rights

Under the Individual Privacy Act 2075 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, and have it deleted. You can download a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy. You can correct most information yourself in your profile. To delete your account and data, use Settings → Privacy or email info@alwass.com. We answer privacy requests within 15 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the platform secure; these are needed for Alwass to work. Your browser also remembers small preferences, such as dark mode. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Keeping it safe

All connections to Alwass are encrypted. Passwords are stored in a form that cannot be read back. Access to your data inside our team is limited to people who need it for their work. You can add two-factor sign-in in Settings → Security for extra protection. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and never share it. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

Alwass is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact info@alwass.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will tell you by email or a notice on the platform before the change takes effect.
