Proposals are how you go after work. Service packages are how work comes to you. A package is a fixed-price offer with a clear delivery time and a clear list of what is included, so a client can decide without a long conversation.
How packages work on Alwass
You can offer up to three tiers: Basic, Standard and Premium.
Each has a title, a price in NPR, delivery in days, and a list of what's included.
Your packages show on your public profile and on the services page, where the cheapest tier shows as your "from" price.
Clients pick a package and request a quote, so you can confirm the details before starting.
Design the three tiers
Basic: the smallest complete version. Example for logo design: one concept, two rounds of changes, PNG and JPG files, 4 days.
Standard: what most clients should choose. Two concepts, three rounds of changes, PNG, SVG and PDF files, 4 days.
Premium: more, faster. Three concepts, small changes for a week after delivery, a full brand file set and social media profile images, 3 days.
Each step up should add clear value, not just a higher number.
Write the "included" list carefully
Name file types, counts and rounds of changes.
Say what is not included if it is often asked for, such as printing or source files.
Keep each line short. Clients scan, they do not read.
Price the tiers
Start from your hourly rate (see pricing your freelance work), estimate the hours for each tier, and round to clear numbers. Remember the platform fee described in the freelancer payment rules.
Titles that get found
Use the words clients search for: "Restaurant menu design", "WordPress site speed fix", "Nepali to English document translation". Avoid clever names nobody types.
Keep packages up to date
If clients keep asking for something outside your packages, add it to a tier. If a tier never sells, change it or remove it. Packages are a shop window, so rearrange it when it is not working.
