Payment & Refund Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what you pay for on Alwass, how refunds work, how we pay out, and what to do when something goes wrong with money. It applies to everyone on the platform. Where this policy and the Terms of Service disagree about money, this policy wins. Project and freelance payments are covered in more detail in our Freelancer & Project Payment Rules.

2. Who you are paying

Payments on Alwass are collected by All Work and Service Solution Pvt. Ltd, registered in Nepal. PAN: 610409079. Registered office: Ratnachowk-7, Pokhara, Nepal. Office: Kathmandu. Phone: +977 9864430736, +977 9864430737. For an invoice or receipt, email finance@alwass.com.

3. Applying for a job is free

Job seekers never pay Alwass anything to search, apply, message an employer or build a profile. If anyone asks you to pay to apply, to be shortlisted or to receive an offer letter, it is not us. Report it using the report button on the listing, or email support@alwass.com.

4. What employers and agencies pay for

Employers and HR agencies pay for the tools they use: subscription plans, job-post credits, featured placement, and services such as CV screening and access to candidate data. Prices are shown in Nepali Rupees before you confirm, and you are charged only when you confirm. A plan runs for the period you paid for and does not renew by itself; you choose whether to buy again.

5. How you pay

We take payment through Khalti, a payment service licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. Your wallet PIN, password and card details are handled by Khalti, not by us; Alwass never sees or stores them. Never pay an Alwass fee to anyone directly or into a personal account.

6. Tax

All Work and Service Solution Pvt. Ltd is registered for PAN and is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices. If that changes, we will show VAT separately on your invoice and tell you before it applies. Where Nepali law requires us to deduct tax at source before paying you, we will deduct it and give you the details for your own tax filing. Your own income tax is your responsibility.

7. Refunds

Subscription plans and job-post credits can be refunded if you ask within 24 hours of paying. For credits, only the credits you have not used yet are refunded; a credit already spent on a job post is not.

All other payments to Alwass are not refundable, including featured placement, boosts, CV screening and access to candidate data.

To ask for a refund, email finance@alwass.com within 24 hours of paying, with your account email and the Khalti transaction reference. We give you a decision within 48 hours. Approved refunds go back to the wallet or account you paid from within 7 working days.

8. Getting paid

Freelancers and agencies are paid to the payout method saved in their account: a bank account, eSewa or Khalti. Payouts are made once a week, for balances of NPR 500 or more; a smaller balance carries over to the next week. Affiliate withdrawals follow the Affiliate Terms. Please check your payout details carefully; money sent to a wrong account that you entered is very hard to recover. We may hold a payout while we investigate a report of fraud, and we will tell you why.

9. When a payment fails or looks wrong

If money left your account but your purchase did not appear, do not pay again. Send the Khalti transaction reference to finance@alwass.com and we will trace it. If you think you were charged wrongly, tell us before disputing it with your bank or wallet; we can usually fix it faster.

10. Fees nobody is allowed to charge you

If you are going abroad for work, the law limits what you can be charged. A recruitment agency in Nepal may charge a service fee of no more than NPR 10,000. For Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Malaysia, your visa and plane ticket are the employer's cost under the free-visa, free-ticket rule, not yours. Never pay before you have a signed contract and a labour permit, and never hand over your passport to hold your place. If an agency on Alwass asks for more, report it from the job listing and we will investigate. Overseas jobs on Alwass can only be posted by agencies whose Foreign Employment licence we have checked.

11. Complaints

Contact our Grievance Officer at support@alwass.com or +977 9864430736 with your account email and what happened. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and give you a decision within 15 days, as the E-Commerce Act 2081 requires. If you are not satisfied, you can go to the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection or a court in Nepal. Nothing in this policy takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2075.

12. Changes

If we change what you pay, what you are owed or how refunds work, we will tell you by email or a notice on the platform before the change takes effect.
