Stock broker firms buy and sell shares for investors on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). They are licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and employ more than traders: back office staff, customer service, research analysts, compliance officers, risk managers, IT support and sales teams.
The roles at a broker
Back office support. Opens accounts, completes KYC, handles settlement and share transfers.
Customer service representative. Helps clients with the trading system, orders and statements.
