Project rules
What the client and the freelancer agree to on every project and service order. Version 2026-10-08.
1.Work starts when the milestone is funded
The client pays each milestone before work on it begins. Alwass holds the money until the work is approved.
2.Changes to the work are a new milestone
Agreed scope stays as agreed. New work is added as a new milestone with its own price and deadline.
3.2 revision rounds are included
Each milestone and service order includes 2 rounds of changes. After that the client approves the work, adds a new milestone, or opens a dispute if it does not match what was agreed.
4.Deadlines matter
The freelancer gets a reminder 2 days before a deadline, and both sides are told when a deadline passes without a delivery.
5.Asking for more time
The freelancer can ask for a new deadline with a reason. The client answers within 48 hours, or the new date is accepted automatically.
6.Work approves itself after 14 days
Delivered work the client does not review within 14 days is approved automatically, with a warning first, so nobody waits for ever.
7.Hourly work
The freelancer logs hours each day and sends each week for approval. The client can set a weekly hour limit. A week the client does not answer is approved automatically 7 days after it was sent, at the client's last approved rate (a reminder comes after 5 days); Alwass can correct it until it is funded.
8.Payment
Once work is approved, Alwass pays the freelancer and keeps a 12% fee. Payments are recorded with a reference both sides can see.
9.Disagreements
Talk first in the contract. If you cannot agree, open a dispute: the money stays held while Alwass reviews the contract's record and decides.
10.Stay on Alwass
Keep payments and project talk on Alwass. Paying outside loses the protection of held money and can close the account.
