There is no single legal CV format in Nepal, but employers here read in a predictable order. Follow it and your CV is easy to scan; fight it and yours is the one that gets skipped.
The order that works
Name and contact — phone, email, city. That is enough.
Headline — job title, years, main tools.
About or summary — three or four lines, not a paragraph of adjectives.
Work experience — newest first.
Education — newest first.
Skills — named exactly as employers write them.
Licences and certificates — driving licence category, council registration, training.
Languages — with an honest level.
References — "available on request" is fine.
How long
One page if you have under five years of experience. Two pages maximum after that. A third page is read by nobody.
What to leave out
A photo, unless the employer asks. It adds nothing and invites bias.
Marital status, caste, religion, father's name. Old biodata habits; not needed for a job.
Date of birth, unless the role has a legal age requirement.
Full home address. Your city or area is enough until you are hired.
"Hardworking, honest, punctual" with nothing to prove it.
Writing each experience entry
Job title, employer, dates. Then two lines:
What you were responsible for.
What changed because you were there — a number, a system you set up, a problem you cleared.
"Handled accounts" says nothing. "Filed monthly VAT for a trading firm with 200+ invoices a month" says you can do the job.
